Ellyse Perry produced a complete all-round performance at Headingley in Leeds on Tuesday as Australia defeated Pakistan by 113 runs to maintain their unbeaten record at the 2026 ICC Women's T20 World Cup in England.
Batting first, Australia posted 199 for 7 from their 20 overs, with Perry contributing 71 from 48 balls including nine fours and a six. It was the first T20 World Cup fifty of her international career.
Perry then returned figures of 2 for 9 with the ball as Pakistan were dismissed for 86 in 13.4 overs. Kim Garth and Sophie Molineux each took two wickets to support the Perry-led bowling effort.
Australia have now won all four of their Group A matches in the tournament, posting three totals above 170.
The Women's T20 World Cup is being held across England and Wales.
Australia's next match is in three days. Perry, who has been playing international cricket since 2007, said the team's depth was as strong as she could remember. 'There's real quality all through this group,' she said. 'We're looking forward, not back.'
